In Summer 2021 the Yukon Southern Lakes Region experienced extreme high-water levels and flooding. The City of Whitehorse contacted Underhill for emergency monitoring of the Robert Campbell bridge structure as a proactive measure.
Underhill was able to quickly deploy a system of tilt sensors and traditional survey prisms for continuous monitoring of this bridge. With real time updates, and incredibly precise Senceive sensors it was confirmed that the flood waters did not have a negative impact on the stability of the bridge.
