Underhill was contracted by Ruskin Construction to assist in building the new Nares River Bridge in Carcross, Yukon. The Nares River bridge serves as the only vehicular access point across the Nares River and connects the Yukon Territory to Alaska. The new bridge was built to replace the aging wooden bridge that was built in the 1970s. The new bridge will be able to accommodate the growing traffic demands in a safer manner.
