About This Project

Underhill Geomatics provided personnel for covering underground and surface surveys needs for the re-opening of the Minto Mine, a copper-gold mine in central Yukon. The client has been Pembridge Resources. Underhill provided technical support and support staff for start-up operations including work related to drill hole layout, Boretrak surveys, raisebore machine alignment, and general survey support for various operational tasks including:

• cavity monitoring surveys (CMS)
• stope test hole layout
• production long-hole ring layout
• underground topes
• advancing control
• measuring stockpiles
• aligning diamond drills
• calculating volumes
• software processing of data collected
