On May 1st, 2002 Underhill aquires the firm of Bartell & Fiedrich Land Surveying Inc. I.J. Royan moves to Kamloops to manage the operation. The business operates as Bartell, Fiedrich & Underhill for some time. The firm has its origins in McWilliam, Whyte & Goble, first established by Al McWilliam on May 1st, 1952. The Underhill aquisition occurs 50 years to the day from when Al McWilliam started the business.
